Apostle Dwayne Ward
Apostle Ward was raised in Matthews, Virginia, where he developed a love and sense of compassion for others. He is the proud son of the deceased William Samuel (Sam) and Pauline Ward. Even as a boy, he exemplified a spirit of devotion and care for the needs of others more than his own.
Apostle Ward was called to teach as a young man and after many years of running, he accepted the call of God. Apostle is a visionary leader whose mission is to empower Believers through teaching and preaching the uncompromised Word of God, to fulfill their highest calling and change the world through the Kingdom Message of Jesus Christ. He places great emphasis on the need for spiritual growth and development through the teaching of God’s Word. With much integrity, Apostle Ward continued to lead his family and church family and one of his motto is as for me and my house we will serve The Lord.
As a layman, Apostle has worked in many areas of the church, usher, children church, nursing home ministry, youth ministry, discipleship training, sound technician, deacon, chairman of Deacon Board and Armor-bearer. Apostle Ward believes and knows in his heart, a true leader is one who has worked their way through the levels in Christ. A great leader is one who can be a great follower.
After much prayer, God blessed Apostle to begin a new chapter in his life, on December 2012, when he married, his best friend, Apostle Brenda Ward. Together, they serve as Pastors of Believer Heritage Kingdom Training Center. Together they have three boys and two girls, and four grandchildren.
Apostle Ward’s ministry is best accurately described in Isiah 61:1-2, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek, he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”
